what does the world mirror you?

“It has always been a mystery to me how men can feel themselves honored by the humiliation of their fellow beings.”

– Gandhi

So many people feel the need to live a more meaningful life and get closer to nature. Corona has shown us that nature can recover quickly and with ease.

We are at a special moment in time where we have the possibility to shape our future again. We can look broader and deeper than ever. The world mirrors us in everything, and it shows us where we are and where the limit has been reached. It gives us the chance to grow to a more mature society where we care even more for one another, and where it is no longer normal to have only a few winners. We are ready now! Everything we need to get there is already there in our lives. We only have to learn to see the signs.

young people mirror us in everything

They are so much wiser and further than we think. They instinctively feel that a lot of social conditioning does not fit. Our social framework makes that they lose their attention and withdraw. They are already well on their way in their level of consciousness and they mirror us in everything; something we often are not able to see. They can think logically and critically and set healthy boundaries from their own unique talents and creative power. By letting go ourselves and by making choices that are truly ours, we make space for our children and the world can get a bit better.

At a Great Famine monument in a beautiful natural setting in Western Ireland, where I had been led through a stream of synchronicities, I was shown, for the first time in my life, images of another time, of powerless people in grey veils of sorrow. It was a confrontation with a famine and refugee flow that had reduced the Irish population 40% in a few years. It made me ask myself new questions. Why did I get to see this in this place? What did it tell me about my life? And what did it tell me about the world then and now? Read more in my book, due out later this year.
